CURRICULUM:

NURTURE Curriculum

Middle School Curriculum

The Jai Hind Public School recognizes the critical importance of the  early years in a child's life as this is the time of laying the  foundation for future growth and development and our objective is to make this experience a joyous one.

Our pre -primary curriculum has been modified, evolved and developed over time according to the needs of children. School follows a way of teaching and learning, where in many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a theme.

The curriculum helps students become lifelong learners and allows efficient coverage and delivery in terms of expertise, resources and time. Students become active learners who research, interpret, communicate and process learning to both others and themselves. Inquiry approaches allow students to construct meaning using their prior knowledge on a theme and new knowledge gained during the learning process.

Middle School Curriculum

Middle School Curriculum

The middle school curriculum builds on the skills acquired by the students in the primary classes through experiential learning and aims at giving students a deeper learning experience by identifying and supporting each student’s potential and recognizing their strengths.

We aim to create a fine balance between academic excellence, artistic expression and practical skills supporting the emotional and social development of all the students.

Aligned to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the academic plan of studies covers all disciplines of learning- Social Sciences, Sciences, Mathematics, languages- English and Hindi and Information Technology. The third language is introduced in Grade 5 and carries till Grade 8. The focus is on an integrated approach towards learning and looking at the connections across disciplines.

Secondary School Curriculum

Secondary School Curriculum

Secondary Education is the second stage in the system of public education. Students are trained to acquire organizational and analytical skills and also gain confidence for year-end examinations. The school follows CBSE curriculum offering four major subjects – English, Math, Science and Social Science and option between Hindi, French, Sanskrit and Spanish. The base for the second language is founded in the Middle School. Teacher and student workshops are held by eminent subject experts. Counsellors and teachers work with parents to guide students to identify their capabilities and potential. We aim to create a fine balance between academic excellence, artistic expression and practical skills supporting the emotional and social development of all students.

Life skills like social skills, thinking skills - critical, creative, decision making and problem solving, emotional skills and attitudes and values are embedded in the curriculum. Our ultimate aim is to help children become autonomous learners. Communication skills are a key area we constantly address for our growing learners, both through internal programmes, as well as by partnering with external experts.
